Well, what a day it was!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the reunion. I think it's safe to say that we all had a WONDERFUL time! It was so nice to see everyone together again and the sound of my Aunts singing brings tears of happiness to my eyes. To the ones who couldn't make it - We missed you and hope to see you soon!

I never met Grandma & Grandpa Badertscher but, I feel like I have... I think there is a little bit of them in each one of us. As I put together our history, I read things in the memories that I remember my own parents doing or that I remember doing at an Aunt's house. I remember Easter at Aunt Gail's. I remember trick or treating at Aunt Dot and Uncle Don's for the pop corn balls. I remember making apple pies with Aunt Margy. I remember freaking out when we moved to New York and Aunt Emma telling me, "Well, you're here now so get over it", And I did. I love my family. Thanks again to everyone who helped from the planning, to the set up to the clean up.

Please send either Debbie or I your pictures from the reunion. That will be our next photo album. Don't stop visiting the Badertscher family site either. This is a great place for announcements or just a hello or what ever it may be. We are fortunate to have such a close family in the year 2008 because with cell phones, lap tops & busy schedules, it's easy to lose touch of what is important. Family is important. Let's all keep in touch.  If you would like a copy of the old home movies that were playing let me know. I will  get you a copy. Remember check back often!
